Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–LPPM, the ASEAN Study Center and the Surabaya State University (UNESA) Research and Innovation Center signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) in cooperation with the Education and Culture Attaché, the Indonesian Consulate General in Manila, the Philippines and the Davao Indonesian School.
The signing event was held online on Tuesday (24/8). On this occasion, Dicky Fabrian as the Consulate General was present and there was Prof. Dr. Darni, M. Hum as chairman of LPPM. In addition, it was also attended by the chairman of the UNESA Research and Innovation Strengthening Center and the ASEAN Study Center team as well as representatives from the Davao Indonesian School.
The collaboration aims to apply the MBKM program, in which UNESA through LPPM and the Center for Research and Strengthening Innovation will collaborate in research related to MBKM. Furthermore, Donny Ardy Kusuma, S.Pd., M.Kes. explained that the research that will be carried out later is on classroom action between teachers at the Davao Indonesian school, and LPPM UNESA.
Donny also explained that in the near future, research on teacher actions will be carried out by the Indonesian school in Davao, Manila, assisted by the UNESA Research and Innovation Strengthening Center. In this case, Unesa's human resources will participate as research consultants. "There are 10 classroom action research in total," he explained. Donny also added that cooperation could be established thanks to the initiation of the ASEAN study center, UNESA.
“We welcome this collaboration, and we will totally help the Davao Indonesian school and the Education and Culture Attache of the Indonesian Consulate General in Manila, Philippines. This is a good step in developing and advancing the MBKM education program,” concluded the head of LPPM. (Hasna/zam)
