Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya–The State University of Surabaya continues to support the government in accelerating the vaccination program. One of them is through the program of administering the first dose of vaccine for the UNESA academic community and the general public which will be held on Tuesday, August 03, 2021 at Graha UNESA, Jl. Citra Raya UNESA, Wetan Tongue, Lakarsantri, Surabaya.
The vaccine was given in collaboration with the UNESA SMCC and the Surabaya City Health Office, which sent a team from 12 Puskesmas and Bhakti Dharma Husada Hospital, Surabaya. Head of SMCC UNESA Dr. Diana Rahmasari, S.Psi., M.Sc., explained that the vaccination program was in the context of the 57th Anniversary of UNESA.
He continued that there was a quota of 5,000 AstraZeneca vaccines provided. Because there are still many UNESA members who have not received the first dose of vaccine, the quota distribution is 3,000 quotas for the UNESA academic community and 2,000 vaccine quotas for the general public, both residents of Surabaya City and residents with ID cards outside the city.
In addition to providing vaccines, there is also a plasma donor program, distribution of basic necessities to people who can't afford it. Recipients of basic necessities are residents who have received coupons before and can come directly to the location by showing the coupon. Then to help make it easier for people to get oxygen, UNESA also provides oxygen at an affordable price.
UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes said that the program was a collaboration between UNESA and various parties, the Provincial Government, City Government, Puskesmas, BDH Hospital and other parties with the aim of helping the community to avoid the spread of Covid-19.
In addition, it is also to make it easier for people to get necessities such as basic necessities, blood supplies, oxygen cylinders and so on. "Anyway, this is a strong UNESA program with the community," he said. "Remember, don't forget vaccines, follow health protocols, clean and healthy lifestyles, and healthy-happy sports," he continued.

- 18-60 years old
- Register at the link https://registervaksin.unesa.ac.id/register-umum
- Downloading Registration Card and Vaccine Sheet
- Print out and fill out the Registration Card and Vaccination Sheet
- Make sure the Registration Card and Vaccination Sheet are filled in
- Upon arrival, participants bring (a) Registration Card, (b) Vaccination Sheet, and (c) original and photocopy of ID card.
- Vaccine participants come to the location according to the vaccine schedule specified in the registration form.
- Vaccine participants are required to apply health protocols, wear masks, hand sanitizers, and maintain distance. (has/zam)
