Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya -Rector of Surabaya State University Prof. Nurhasan, M.Kes., appointed The Student Executive Board (BEM) Unesa and Chairman of the Student Consultative Assembly (MPM) Unesa as well as all unesa SME administrators online on Tuesday (12/1).
The names of the structures appointed are Ahmad Yusuf Al Khakim and Akhad Roziq Ribbani as Chairman and Deputy of BEM UNESA, respectively. Then Akhmad Rizal Fanandi and Syaihabul Khoir respectively as Chairman and Deputy MPM UNESA. In addition, the entire board of 44 Student Activity Units (SMEs) Unesa.
The board is based on Rector's Decree No. (086/UN38/HK/KM/2021 concerning the appointment of the executive board of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Student Consultative Assembly (MPM) of UNESA Thn 2021)) and (088/UN38/HK/KM/2021) on the appointment of the board of student activities unit of UNESA in 2021).
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes as Rector of Unesa said that being the leader of the organization is not an easy matter. In it there is a pile of responsibilities that must be carried out wholeheartedly to achieve a common goal. "Leaders have an important and strategic role in running the wheels of productive organizations or institutions for the sake of a more advanced and accomplished Unesa," he said.
Moreover, being a leader is not to seek a name to be respected or served. However, it is about devoting yourself to carrying out duties and responsibilities wholeheartedly. Instead, leaders must serve, carry out all visions and missions, and address all issues with the offer of collaborative-based solutions.
Rector Unesa in his speech also assessed, the appointed board and the young generation of Unesa in general is a superior generation that is able to be a pioneer and innovator and able to collaborate well in advancing Unesa, society and the nation in the future. "I leave this mandate to my children (appointed caretaker, red). Happy duty! We wait for his kolabarasi and innovation for a better and superior Unesa," he said while closing his speech with a pantun.
The event was also attended by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd, Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Suprapto, S.Pd., M.T, Vice Rector for Student affairs and Alumni, Dr. Agus Hariyanto, M.Kes, Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd, and Dean of Faculty with Vice Dean of Environmental Affairs Unesa.
