Show the talents of UNESA Labschool Elementary School students in Student Performance 2024
Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA — As a manifestation of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, UNESA Labschool Elementary School held a Student Performance event on Thursday, June 13 2024 in the Hall UNESA Labschool Elementary School, Campus 1 Ketintang.
This event was held for 2 consecutive days, starting from 13 to 14 June 2024. On the first day, various talents from students from grades 1-3 were displayed, while on the day second followed by performances from students in grades 4-5.
In his statement, Principal Sri Lestari, S.Pd., revealed that this activity was part of the school's efforts to explore and discover students' hidden talents in the arts .
Students appear confident in the expectations of their teachers and parents.
"Student "This performance familiarizes students with appearing in public, thus growing self-confidence and honing collaboration between each other," he said.
"This event, which is witnessed by the students' parents, is held every semester in a particular field. "Incidentally, this semester the art sector is exploring the potential of P5 activities (Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students)," he added.
Wheny, one of the representatives of the student parents, appreciated this event because with this event people Parents become aware of their children's talents so that later they can be honed and strengthened.
Stundent performance is an opportunity for parents to see their children's talents.
"Hopefully "This event can be held regularly every semester. We as parents fully support this event as a form of exploring children's interests and talents, especially in the arts," he hoped.
This student performance event was a lively event. various Indonesian dances were performed, such as: bat dance, kecak dance, saman dance, as well as performances of singing and playing music.[]
