The dynamics of the future are increasingly challenging for the younger generation who have just graduated from secondary education. For this reason, students at SMA Labschool are really given strong provisions so that when they graduate, students are ready to challenge and become key players in their day.
In preparing graduates, Labschool has its own strategy known as the golden triangle, which includes students, parents and educators. The roles of the three are helping Labschool specifically to prepare quality human resources to capture the momentum of the upcoming 2045 Golden Indonesia.
Educators are an important factor in the success of the education and learning process in schools. Therefore, the educators at Labschool are selected human resources who are certainly able to instill character and equip students with hard skills and soft skills. “Teachers do not teach students, but rather learn and innovate with students. In it there is a constructive collaboration in creating innovations," he explained.
In addition, UNESA Labschool has implemented a digitization system since 2018, which in all learning models uses Ipad/Tab. Even the digital library has been arranged in such a way that it is easy for students to access reading materials such as textbooks, novels, short stories, poetry collections, and other books. It is also a form of campaign not to use paper excessively even in the scope of education.
The concept of digitizing education that we carry aims to ease the burden on parents, especially the purchase of student worksheets (LKS) which are considered less efficient. While the Ipad/Tab may be expensive in the beginning, but when the students graduate, they can still use it for college or work.
The most important thing is how the school system instills digital literacy and directs them to use technology for their study or work needs. Digital literacy is important for students, because their era is all digital and is part of the competencies needed in the 21st century.
“Congratulations to the students who have passed and attended today's graduation. I hope you become a successful graduate and make your alma mater, parents and all proud. Hopefully they will become a successful generation and have a contribution to society and the country," he said. [UNESA PR]
