Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA –The State University of Surabaya again held a series of UNESA Virtual Campus Expo (UVCE) on Thursday, March 24, 2022. This activity, which was broadcast live on the Unesa Official YouTube channel, thoroughly explored the mechanism for accepting new students for the UTBK SBMPTN UNESA pathway, registration opened on Wednesday, March 23 2022.
Head of the UNESA Admissions Unit, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., explained that the SNMPTN pathway and the SBMPTN pathway are different, including the type of selection. If the SNMPTN there is an influence on the school index, while in the SBMPTN it is not related to the school index. Graduation is only determined by the personal achievements of the participants.
"The SBMPTN pathway is for students graduating in 2020, 2021 and 2022, including participants who have not previously passed the SNMPTN pathway," he said. The terms and conditions of registration as reported on the LTMPT page are;
- Have a permanent LTMPT account
- Indonesian citizen and have a NIK
- SMA/MA/SMK/equivalent students. Prospective graduates in 2022 must have a certificate from class XII students or students of Package C in 2022 with a maximum age of 25 years as of July 1, 2022. The certificate must be accompanied by a recent color photo, school stamp and signature of the principal.
- High school / MA / SMK / equivalent students in 2020, 2921 or graduates of Package C in 2020, 2021 with a maximum age of 25 years as of July 1, 2022.
- Test Participant Requirements:
- participants who will choose the Science and Technology study program will take part in TPS, English, and TKA Science and Technology;
- participants who will choose Soshum study program, then follow TPS, English, and TKA Soshum; and
- participants who will choose a Mixed Study Program (Science and Soshum), then follow TPS, English, TKA Science and Technology and TKA Soshum.
- Specifically, the Medicine and Dentistry Study Program can only be chosen by high school/MA graduate students majoring in science.
- Have adequate health so that it does not interfere with the smooth study process.
- Participants who choose the Arts and Sports study program are required to upload a portfolio.
- Blind participants are required to upload a Blind Statement Letter
- Paying UTBK fees through Mandiri, BNI, BTN and BRI banks
Sukarmin added, as for the registration flow that participants must pay attention to. First, have an LTMPT account. Second, fill in the biodata. This is especially important with regard to participants with disabilities or not. Because participants with disabilities, especially the visually impaired, receive special treatment. Don't get it wrong.
Third, choose a study program. Participants can choose one study program or two study programs. Both of them can be science and technology alone or soshum, it can be one science and technology study program and one social social study program. The selection of study programs and campuses is not limited by province.

The UTBK test is a determinant of being accepted or not at the destination campus. The test materials are TPS, English and TKA. Foreign workers depend on the chosen study program, whether it is science and technology or social science. He suggested that while there is still time, it is better for participants to prepare themselves by studying the previous questions and deepening the material being tested.
The test method is a computer-based written test with a group of Scientific, Soshum or Mixed exams. Each participant only gets one test opportunity. The UTBK implementation at UNESA is planned to be carried out at UNESA Lidah Wetan Campus and Ketintang Campus as well as at Unusa.
