Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) has many excellent study programs, both applied undergraduate (D-4), undergraduate (S-1) and postgraduate programs. Postgraduate UNESA is one of the best in the country. This was conveyed by the Director of Postgraduate, Prof. Dr. Wasis, M.Sc., at the UNESA Virtual Campus Expo (UVCE) on February 23, 2022.
Prof. Wasis added that continuing postgraduate studies, be it Masters or Doctoral Degrees, is a demand, not only the demands of work qualifications in certain sectors, but also the demands of life. For him, studying is a must. Because the world is increasingly advanced and complex, a comprehensive perspective and thinking is needed in solving the complexities of life and it is obtained in postgraduate studies.
“This postgraduate study is designed to produce graduates who are creative and have innovative work, even those who graduate from doctorate not only have academic skills, but must have new works to solve problems that exist in society. Because postgraduate students have to do multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary research," he explained.
Deputy Director for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nining Widyah Kusnanik, S.Pd., M. Appl.Sc., said that there are 22 masters programs and 8 doctoral programs. Study programs are as follows;

He added, among these study programs, some of them, such as the Masters Program in Educational Technology, are accredited with excellence. In addition, several other study programs are in the process of achieving international accreditation. "With several advantages, postgraduate applicants continue to increase every year," he explained.
Deputy Director of General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suparji, M.Pd., explained, UNESA Postgraduate is located at Unesa, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya. It has a nine-story building accompanied by various adequate facilities and supports the lecture process.
He added that the postgraduate program has two lecture schemes, the first is a regular program with a regular lecture schedule or working hours. Second, non-regular programs with a schedule of lectures outside of working hours. "For example, for workers who want to continue their studies, they can study in non-regular programs outside of working days and be more flexible," he explained.
Prof. Suparji added, in 2021 UNESA Postgraduate is trusted to run a collaborative program with developing countries, where students from several countries study at UNESA postgraduates.
