Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The D-4 Sports Coaching Vocational Program at the State University of Surabaya in collaboration with 3D wall painting practitioners held a business development training during the pandemic on Friday, October 15, 2021. The activity, which is part of the PKM, was attended by D-4 Sports Coaching students for the 2019-2021 class. which is guided directly by 3D wall painting practitioners.
The activity was titled 'Training for Making Thematic Character Washbasins'. Dr. Wijono stated that this activity is one way to improve the competence of D-4 students from basic sports. "With additional insight beyond the scientific fields being taught, it is hoped that students will have more abilities to be able to develop business when they become fresh graduates of the vocational program," he said.
In line with what was said by the head of the D4 Sports Coaching Vocational Study Program, one of the lecturers who supervised the activity, Dr. Moch. Purnomo, M.Kes on that occasion stated that simple items can be unique, attractive and have a higher economic value so that for students there will be additional income in the hands of creative students. "To be creative, of course, we need collaboration, now we from the D-4 Vocational lecturers are ready to help in the form of advice and direction to students who are trying to get started actively starting a sports business," he said.
The event, which was held at UNESA's D-4 Sports Coaching, provided a lot of material on the mechanism for improving marketing, creating forms and variations of sink products and directly being practiced by students who participated in the training. This activity was also supported by a partner, CV Amira, who is engaged in the building sector, as a sink manufacturer.
The Westafe created in the training will be developed into a thematic character sink used by students in the lecture process. The community service team for the D-4 Sports Coaching lecturer chaired by Moch. Purnomo held this event to provide support and add business insight to students. [UNESA PR*]
