Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The evening sky in East Java seemed to be nostalgic when the music of the UNESA All Star Band filled the Rindu Song program which was broadcast live on TVRI East Java on Saturday, November 23 2024. This collaborative activity was in commemoration of UNESA's 60th Anniversary.
The performance of the UNESA Dhama Women's Unity (DWP) Line Dance also enlivened the atmosphere, presenting a combination of beautiful movements that raised the spirits of leaders, lecturers, students and the community at the same time strengthen the relationship between them.
Vice Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation and Information and Communication Technology, Martadi explained that this program is part of the collaboration between UNESA and TVRI.
"We present the team UNESA, so that the leadership communication atmosphere can be more fluid and informal. "This is in line with our tagline: 'Together we can work together for UNESA to be one step ahead towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,'" he said.

'Longing Song' was chosen because has deep meaning, not only as TVRI's long-standing flagship program, but also as a means of conveying moral messages.
“Many old songs contain important messages about loyalty and communication. "This message is relevant for our current young generation," he added.
Apart from being an entertainment event, this event also functions as a campus branding effort. With live broadcasts on TVRI, UNESA wants to show its excellence in the field of arts and culture to the wider community.
“We want to show that UNESA's musical arts are worthy of excellence. "This is one way to introduce UNESA to audiences in East Java so that more people will be interested in joining us," said the UNESA education expert.
