UNESA leadership welcomed the visit of the Polije group regarding the preparations and process for transferring the status of the university in Jember to PTN-BH.
Unesa. ac.id., SURABAYA—The leadership of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) warmly welcomed the visit of the leadership of the Jember State Polytechnic (Polije) at the Auditorium, UNESA Rectorate Building, Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Thursday, 16 May 2024.
Present with his staff, Deputy Director for Finance and General Affairs, Polije, Dr. Yossi Wibisono, S.TP., M.P said that this visit was in order to explore the experience and best practices of UNESA which successfully changed its status from PTNBLU to PTNBH.
"We chose to come here because "We hope that this experience from UNESA can be one of our guidances towards PTNBH," he said. >

The Chairman of the UNESA Board of Trustees conveyed several descriptions of the preparation stages, documents, and the process of transitioning PTNBLU to PTNBH.
He added , this benchmarking is the first step to gain deeper insight into the documents and transition process from PTNBLU to PTNBH. "We have planned some further assistance with UNESA to ensure the smooth running of this process," he said.
Chairman of the UNESA MWA (Council of Trustees), Prof. Dr. H. Haris Supratno, who also welcomed the UNESA deputy chancellors, welcomed Polije's visit. The Chairman of the MWA said he was ready to assist to facilitate the process of Polije which was preparing to transfer status to PTNBH.
"This assistance aims to make the document preparation process more focused, the complete work will still be carried out by Polije in Jember," he said.
UNESA leadership shared their experience of the transformation process of the 'Home of Champions' campus from PTNBLU to PTNBH with the Polije group.
In general , continued Prof. Haris, there are three stages of transition to PTNBH, namely preparation, preparation of the RPP to become a PP, and preparation of other regulations. All stages must be passed without missing a single one to ensure a smooth transition process.
The professor at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) hopes that from this benchmarking Polije can prepare transition requirements documents with fluent. "When it becomes a PTN-BH, universities face the challenge of independence as well as ease in managing their own household," he said.
This activity was also attended by the Deputy Chancellor for Field II, Dr. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd., Deputy Chancellor for Division IV Dr. Martadi, M.Sn., Director of Information Communication Technology and Cooperation Prof. Slamet Setiawan, M.A., Ph.D., and his staff.[]
