unesa.ac.id. Href = "// Unesa.ac.id/"> SURABAYA STATE UNIVERSITY (UNESA) received a visit from the Center for Supervision and Development Strategy Strategy (BPKP) at the 8th Floor Rectorate Building, UNESA II Campus, Tongue Wetan Surabaya, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Head of the Public Information Section, Directorate of Public Relations and Public Information, Muh. Ariffudin Islam welcomed the presence of the BPKP team. He said that UNESA is very open to collaboration and various practices both in the management of publication media.
"We welcome this visit as a strategic step to share experiences and build synergy between institutions," he said.
UNESA as one of the universities that has good publication management. Hopefully this activity is useful and strengthening our strategy going forward, "he said.Practices in Journal Management, Muhammad Abdul Ghofur and Binar Kurnia Prahani from the Directorate of Innovation, Rating, and Scientific Publication of UNESA explained the Governance Strategy of the Unesa Journal which succeeded in penetrating the reputable index such as Scopus. "Determining the right goals and maintaining consistency is the key so that journal management is not only running, but also develops and is sustainable," he explained.
He also explained important points in the writing of journal articles, such as the importance of citations, the diversity of the writer, the diversity of the editor and reviewer teams, topics specifications, and neat and structured business processes.
Mubasyir Aidi, explained the planning process, implementation, to the selection of themes in each magazine edition.
He emphasized the importance of the relevance of the theme to the actual issue and a narrative approach close to the reader. "Magazines are not only information containers, but also build the identity and image of the institution," he explained. []
