The agenda involved the leadership and dean of UNESA as well as the College of the Arts delegation led directly by Angelika Schroeder as chancellor. One of the things discussed was cooperation in the academic field.
Head of Sub-Directorate for International Affairs (KUI), UNESA, Asrori said that the cooperation agreement discussed was regarding the UNESA Global Scholarship (UGS) postgraduate scholarship program. Through this program, College of the Arts students or lecturers can study arts at UNESA.
"This discussion aims to discuss technical matters, including regarding teams consisting of related faculties or study programs (prodi), in order to implement collaboration programs with the College of the Arts," said the lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) That.
This collaboration is a manifestation of UNESA's commitment to increasing recognition at the world level.
He added that the scholarships offered UNESA has a number of requirements that must be met by the College of the Arts community. “It's clear, we will only give two master's degree scholarships. "Scholarship recipients must meet our requirements," said Asrori.
He said that when studying here, foreign students would also use the Indonesian curriculum. So what UNESA gives to its students, that is what will be given to foreign students who study at the 'Home of Champions' campus.
"Later, foreign students who receive scholarships at UNESA will study Indonesian before attending college. ," he explained.
Deputy Chancellor II for Law, Management, Finance, Resources and Business UNESA, Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, said that this follow-up was expected to start exploring collaboration with the College of the Arts.
“This collaboration is also related to student exchanges in the fields of music, fashion design, and other arts fields. "Hopefully this can increase deeper understanding between the two institutions to be able to build other collaboration opportunities in the future," he hoped.
This meeting was attended by the ranks of Division II, the cooperation sector, the leadership of the Postgraduate School, the leadership of FBS, the Subdirectorate of International Affairs and the coordinators of study programs related to the 'Growing with Character' campus environment. [*]
