Unesa .ac.id Surabaya - Surabaya State University held the 8th anniversary Anniversary of the Mandarin Language Center Unesa with the theme "I Love CI & rdquo; which was held at the Confucius Institute Surabaya (25/05) and was attended directly by the Chinese Consulate General from Surabaya Gu Jingqi.
The Surabaya Chinese Consul General admitted that Culture in Indonesia is not much different from culture in China. This has become a separate match to establish cooperation between the two. He hopes that this collaboration will continue well in the future especially in the fields of trade economics education and tourism.
One form of cooperation is with Unesa in the field of education. Gu Jingqi emphasized that the Confucius Institute was the first institution in East Java from universities that worked directly with the Chinese Consulate General. Gu Jingqi hopes that this ongoing collaboration can strengthen and create quality education especially in Mandarin.
This anniversary celebration is always held annually with the main aim of developing the Mandarin Language Center in Unesa and reaching partners who well. This event also invited several universities including Airlangga University Narotama University Petra University Widyamandala University Sunan Ampel State Islamic University and STIBA.
Drs. Slamet Setiawan MA Ph.D. admitted that he was happy and grateful for the realization of the 8th anniversary event this time. "This activity is carried out to support the Mandarin Language Center in Unesa. We continue to strive to develop and support this activity & rdquo; he said.
Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto M. Pd. Also spoke up. He hopes that the collaboration between the Confucius Institution (CI) and Unesa will be a better collaboration going forward. "This will create a good synergy between China and Indonesia and it will be a good development in the world especially in the realm of education" he said. he stressed.
This event kept an interesting impression on the participants present. Hani a student from Widya Kartika University in Surabaya admitted that she was enthusiastic and happy to be able to attend this event. He also gained additional knowledge about Mandarin as well as fellow majors from different universities.
What Hani felt was also shared by Amal. The student of the Mandari Unesa Language Department admitted that this interesting celebration was not the first time it was held because since the previous year the celebration was no less interesting. He feels happy and proud Unesa can continue to develop Mandarin through activities like this . (FBR / IC / why)
