The leadership of UNESA and UIN Walisongo Semarang share strengthening institutional practices.
Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—The leadership of the 'Growing with Character' campus warmly welcomed the benchmarking group from the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) of the Walisongo State Islamic University (UIN) Semarang in the Lidah Wetan Campus 2 Rectorate Meeting Room, on Wednesday, 22 May 2024 .
UNESA Director of Educational Transformation and Learning Technology, Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M.Kes., expressed his gratitude for the visit from the leadership of UIN Walisongo Semarang to share experiences to strengthen higher education governance in general.
“Collaboration between public and religious-based universities is important to future to give birth to various breakthroughs and innovations in both academic and non-academic fields," he said.
Director of UNESA Educational Transformation and Learning Technology, Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M .Kes., (left) also conveyed the curriculum breakthrough as a milestone for UNESA towards becoming a world class university.
Meanwhile , UNESA Director of Law and Management, Dr. Sulaksono, S.H., M.H., emphasized that UNESA's transformation is not only from PTNBLU to TPNBH, but even further, namely towards a world class university.
“We have increased the quantity and quality of many internationalization programs, including the number of collaborations "To open up opportunities for students to study abroad and exchange lecturers," he said.
"What is certain is that we focus on developing human resources, building strong networks with other institutions. "The success of previous collaborations is also motivation and proof that we are able to achieve positive results," he said again.
Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Law (FH) UNESA, Arinto Nugroho, S.Pd., S.H. , M.H., also shared about development and transformation at the faculty level. He continued, FH is a new faculty with a new mission, namely as a means for UNESA to increase its contribution to society and the country.
In addition, Head Public Information Section, UNESA Directorate of Public Relations and Public Information, Muh Ariffudin Islam, S.Sn., M.Sn., also explained the management of institutional websites as digital pages that are frequently visited by the public.
"Websites are important Very important for the institution, because of the campus branding and reputation of the domain there. Especially now, access to any information about the campus is via the website. "Even from the assessment of public information openness to world rankings, one thing that is looked at is the website," stressed the UNESA DKV lecturer.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean for General Administration, Planning and Finance, FSH UIN Walisongo, Supangat, M. Ag., expressed his infinite gratitude for the welcome and sharing.
This benchmarking activity is expected to be the first step for closer and more productive cooperation between FSH UIN Walisongo Semarang and UNESA, in order to advance the quality of education and management of universities in Indonesia. "We hope that through this activity, we can gain new insights and inspiration that can be applied at our respective universities," he said.[]
