Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The Chancellor of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes carried out monitoring and evaluation (monev) on the implementation of the Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) at the partner campus, Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (Unusa) Campus B on Monday, May 23, 2022. The aim was to see firsthand and ensure the smoothness of the final test session for the first wave.
There, Cak Hasan was greeted by the Chancellor of Unusa, Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, M.Eng. Both of them and accompanied by the admissions unit monitored the course of the UTBK test. On that occasion, the Chancellor ensured that the participant's progress system began with the movement of participants to avoid crowds, temperature checks including metal detectors and participants' transit rooms before entering the exam room.
“In order to be both safe, participants and committees, including their assistants, have to take steps. That is one of the UTBK provisions and we apply it to both UNESA and Unusa locations. Therefore, participants who arrived at the location were immediately checked for vaccinations and their body temperatures, "said Cak Hasan.
From the results of this monitoring, UTBK at UNESA and partner campus, Unusa went smoothly. "Whatever the results of the evaluation of the first wave of tests, if there are things that are not expected, it will certainly be an important note and reference for the second wave later," he added.
After the monev, Cak Hasan was invited by Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, M.Eng to try out the existing facilities at Unusa Campus B, starting from the exam room for prospective doctors, virtual reality laboratories and microteaching. In addition, there is also a light board to support online learning.

Cak Hasan also saw the metaverse technology developed by the lecturers there for student learning. “This is cool, because now the metaverse is trending and you have to be quick to seize opportunities. It's good to be contested and patented," said Cak Hasan.
