Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya–Universitas Negeri Surabaya through one of its flagship faculties, the Faculty of Sports Science continues to be committed to advancing national sports. There are many efforts that have been done unesa, and there have been many international achievements presented to Indonesia.Ikhtiar UNESA to realize the commitment is to cooperate with many parties, one of them with sma Negeri Olahraga Jawa Timur (SMANOR) Sidoarjo whose memorandum of understanding or MoU was signed virtually on Wednesday (10/03/2021).
Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd. in his speech said that the excellence of the field of sports owned by UNESA is in line with the vision and program of SMANOR. According to him, between UNESA and SMANOR in the cooperation can be a sustainable educational program.
Human resources prepared by SMANOR, he added, can continue to develop its capabilities in universities that excel in sports. "Because of that, UNESA is the right place to accommodate talented graduates from various sports schools, one of them from SMANOR. Graduates of SMANOR can continue their higher education in Unesa. The athletes will develop well in Unesa. The scheme of admission can be entered through sports scholarships," said Sujarwanto.
"Unesa is a repository of great national athletes. Cooperation with SMANOR, hopefully will produce more talented, superior and professional athletes who are able to score achievements and scent the name of Indonesia in the international arena," he concluded. The principal of SMANOR Drs. Suswanto, M.M. expressed his gratitude for the cooperation. The excellence of SMANOR in 15 sports and Unesa through its FIO is expected to continue to improve the achievement of the sport at the national level, more and more internationally. (juris/zam)
