Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - Univeristas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) continue to expand cooperation. Wednesday, March 16 2022, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd signed the MOU with the British Council online and offline at the 9th Floor Auditorium, Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus.
Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd in his speech stated that the MOU is for strengthening English language competence as well as a preventive method for educators in teaching. "Hopefully this collaboration can create educators and graduate profiles who have good English competence," he said
UNESA Language Center, Drs. Suwarno Imam Samsul., M.Pd explained, the campus with the slogan 'One Step Ahead' continues to encourage human resources, both lecturers, students and staff, to become more literate in foreign languages. The Language Center also accommodates this, so that UNESA graduates have added value and are ready to compete in the national and international arena.
"This collaboration is a starting point for students, including vocational training. Hopefully, after graduating, students are ready and mature to enter the world of work," he said.

This collaboration will be followed up with various programs which will be socialized gradually, both online and offline to reach all UNESA students. "If it is possible online, we will do it, but it is possible that we will also do it offline," he added.
Meanwhile, Tony Hendra Gunawan, Country Manager of Indonesia British Council explained, access to English tests is done online for efficiency. This activity was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Cooperation and Planning, the Dean and his staff, the Head of the Language Center and his staff and several Heads of Study Programs. (UNESA PR)
