Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (P2MW) is officially opened. The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) through the Unesa Career Center (UCC) held a socialization of P2MW guidelines and technical proposals for P2MW proposals on Thursday (12/05/2022). The activity takes place virtually.
P2MW is a program managed by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education. It is a student business development program through development and coaching funds by providing business assistance and coaching to P2MW participating students.
On this occasion, the UCC represented by Fendi Achmad, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that the 2022 Entrepreneurial Student Development program was given to universities to design an entrepreneurial development process with the principle of developing the character of 'creative technopreneur' including: (a ) collaborative leadership development, (b) creative problem solving, (c) technology-based innovative execution, and the courage to take measured risks.
The requirements for students who can take part in this program include: (a) each group consists of a chairman and members with a total of 3-5 students, (b) a minimum business group already has a business prototype as evidenced by product documentation, and (c) a business proposal proposed is not currently receiving similar funding from APBN sources.
The program, which was formerly known as KBMI (Indonesian Student Entrepreneurial Activities), is expected to encourage the interest of the UNESA academic community, both lecturers and students, in the field of entrepreneurship.
There are five business categories in P2MW 2022 which are competed, such as food and beverage, production or cultivation, creative industry, arts and culture, and tourism, services and trade and applied technology. "The time of program implementation begins with socialization in April until the peak of the awarding event for the Indonesian Student Innovation Festival (FIMI) in November," he explained.
UNESA welcomed the competition. He hopes that the selected and successfully funded business categories can provide sustainable benefits.
