Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-In order to welcome the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW), the Faculty of Education (FIP) UNESA held a PMW socialization with the theme 'Growing Creative, Productive and Entrepreneurship Spirits in the Entrepreneurial World' on Monday (21/03/2022).
This socialization was carried out online which was attended by Heryanto Susilo, S.Pd., M.Pd., Deputy Dean III of the Unesa Faculty of Education and Hirnanda Dimas Pradana, S.Pd., M.Pd., Lecturer of Curriculum and Educational Technology.
Heryanto Susilo explained that the PMW concept combines education and entrepreneurship which is driven by the rapid development of education.
"Even the definition of entrepreneurship has shifted its paradigm, not only products that are traded but also abstract works such as ideas, concepts, services, and so on have become part of entrepreneurship," he explained.
Hirnanda Dimas Pradana on that occasion invited students to change their views from being only employees, but also becoming entrepreneurs. "Being an entrepreneur is very beneficial in terms of social benefits in the environment, namely by creating new job opportunities for the community," said Hirnanda.
He also invites students to develop ideas and strategies in entrepreneurship so that they can compete with other similar businesses. According to him, there are several factors that determine entrepreneurial success such as vision and mission, being good at creating business opportunities, never giving up and financial management.
“Don't waste this opportunity in PMW, because in this program students can develop their business from the ideas that have been proposed and students are expected to be able to develop businesses that match their respective passions. What are you waiting for, prove it in this program," he asked. [UNESA PR]
