Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) held the 2nd day of the Triathlon on Saturday, December 4, 2021. The competition, in collaboration with UNESA and the Indonesian Triathlon Federation of East Java and Jasalindo, was guided by Tiur Cristin Natalia and Tirfan Putera.

For the Mixed Relay and Youth Men Women categories, the distance is 300 meters for swimming, 7.5 km for cycling and 1.25 km for running. "Contests like this will be screened and continue to have the potential to become athletes," said Tirfan.
The enthusiasm of the people of Surabaya was also seen as spectators of the swimming competition which took place at UNESA Lake. "In this Triathlon, all of them have undergone an antigen test before and always keep their distance, wear masks to be safe," said Tiur.
From the results of the competition, in the Mixed Relay category the first position was won by Ronald Bintang with a record time; 1 hour, 37 minutes, 34 seconds. This team consists of 4 different provinces, Jauhari Johan from South Sumatra, Inge Prasetyo from Banten, Bulan from West Java, and Ronald from East Java. "Different, but one," said Tirfan.
The second position was won by the Bima Muslim Perdana team from East Java with a time of 1 hour, 39 minutes, 23 seconds and the third position was won by Muhammad Sajid's team from East Java with a time of 1 hour, 41 minutes.
Meanwhile, in the Youth Men Women Triathlon category, the first position in the Men class was won by Muh Armyn, the second place was taken by Syariq Tegar, Central Java, and the third place was brought by Daffa Maulana. While for the Women class, the first position was occupied by Ananda Rintania, the first woman to enter the finish line. The second was from East Java, Ni Putu Dyah, and the third female participant was Azra Des Mofila from DIY. (UNESA PR)
