Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Every new student admission momentum, the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) floods with visits from various schools, both SMA, SMK and MA from various regions of East Java. Most recently, UNESA received a visit from SMAN 22 Surabaya on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 on the 8th Floor, Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya.
Rini, the BK teacher at SMAN 22 Surabaya, first expressed her gratitude to UNESA for the warm welcome. The purpose and objective of the visit was to strengthen the relationship and dig up information about new student admissions at UNESA. "About what the path for new student admissions at Unesa is, what schools should pay attention to and what prospective applicants need to prepare," he said.
Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., Head of the Admissions Unit explained that there are several routes for new student admissions at UNESA. There are SNMPTN, SBMPTN and SPMB or Mandiri paths. "So participants can choose the route based on the existing provisions, the most important thing is to pay attention to the provisions and fulfill the conditions," he said.
He added that there are 74 study programs at UNESA under seven faculties. Although admission to UNESA is quite competitive, this year there is good news, UNESA has increased the quota for new student admissions. "So the opportunities are getting open, the most important thing is to prepare yourself as well as possible, not only to come here, but also for the future," he said.
Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A., Head of Public Relations explained that, for registrants, it is better to determine the study program according to the major or specialization while in SMA/SMK/MA. In addition, consider the chosen study program with interest, burn or passion. "The chosen study program determines the success of the learning process and the future," he said.
