Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) carried out outreach on Campus 5 Magetan, in Nganjuk Regency on Wednesday, February 28 2024. The socialization was attended by representatives of SMA/SMK/equivalent students and guidance and counseling teachers throughout Nganjuk Regency and took place in the Hall of SMA Negeri 2 Nganjuk.
Starting at 09.30 WIB, this socialization was attended directly by Prof. Dr. Sarmini, M.Hum as Director of Campuses Outside the UNESA Main Campus, who explained that UNESA Campus 5 Magetan is ready to welcome new students in 2024.
"The building will soon be completed and will soon be handed over. Everything "The opportunities and quality of lectures that new students at UNESA Campus 5 Magetan will receive are the same as the main campus located in Surabaya," he said.
He also emphasized that prospective students do not need to worry about studying at UNESA Magetan, because of all the facilities Academics and accommodation are fully available, with living costs that are much cheaper than having to migrate far away to Surabaya.
"Our current accreditation is good and in the next two years accreditation could increase. As for costs life, it's definitely cheap," he explained.
On that occasion, the Head of the Nganjuk Regency Education Service Branch (Cabdindik), Dra. Evi Dwi Widajanti, M.Pd who expressed his full support for the opening of UNESA Campus 5 Magetan.
"Now Nganjuk students have the option to study at a cheaper cost of living in Magetan, with a choice of the best study programs, with "Bright job prospects, this is a very good opportunity for children," he explained.
Apart from that, Gilang Gusti Aji, S.I.P., M.Sc., as Head of the Public Relations Section, Directorate of Public Relations and Public Information, UNESA were also present to provide information regarding registration procedures, superior programs, facilities and other information regarding the Magetan campus.
"This is the right time for friends to study. Good independent program facilities "learning, as well as programs from UNESA are very diverse, and students can take advantage of them to gain learning experience outside campus, even abroad in order to add experience and self-development," he said.
Apart from presenting material, this socialization activity is also involving students and BK teachers in interactive sessions by asking many questions to the resource persons who were present. In addition, UNESA Campus 5 Magetan has nine study programs;

- S-1 Physical Education, Health and Recreation (Faculty Sports and Health Sciences)
- Bachelor of Communication Sciences (Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences)
- Bachelor of Legal Sciences (Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences)
- Bachelor of Mathematics Education (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences)
- Bachelor of Elementary School Teacher Education (Faculty of Education)
- Bachelor of English Literature (Faculty of Languages and Arts)
- Bachelor's Degree in Informatics (Faculty of Engineering)
- Bachelor's Degree in Cosmetology Education (Faculty of Engineering). []
