Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-In order to increase the potential and enthusiasm of students in entrepreneurship, the Unesa Career Center (UCC) Unit held a briefing on the Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW) with the theme "Young People Are Proud to be Entrepreneurs" online on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The activity was attended by students receiving PMW funds consisting of of 80 groups.

In the initial session, the owner of About Events explained that being an entrepreneur is indeed difficult and easy. If an entrepreneur already has a product, then he must be able to brand his product with the aim of being able to control the market, easy to carry out strategies and have an influence on consumers.
“In addition to having product branding, an entrepreneur must determine the value, namely there must be a differentiating factor for the product, it has many benefits and uses. Products must be able to help consumers solve problems and be able to explore customer's big dreams and pain points," he explained.
Entrepreneurs must also have a distribution channel that can be done online, through mass media, or carried out offline. Entrepreneurs must have trusted relationships and be able to develop products.
Aditya Saputra said, in 2022, there will be many online business opportunities, because many are using digital services. Through digital media, products are easily accessible to customers, especially with adequate platform support so that E-commerce is the main driver of the economy in Indonesia.
He added, the leading e-commerce in Southeast Asia and Taiwan is Shopee. “This application was launched in 2015 and is the largest in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Taiwan. With external segmentation, it is very effective to sell at Shopee plus various promos and other strategies," he explained. [UNESA PR]
