Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya -The Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) will announce the results of the Joint Selection for State Universities (SBMPTN) on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 15.00 WIB. Announcements can be seen on the LTMPT main page or for UNESA registrants can see the mirror page, http://sbmptn.unesa.ac.id/.
Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs UNESA Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd said that this year, there were 29,971 participants for the UNESA SBMPTN. Meanwhile, the capacity is 2,990 students in 73 study programs.
Therefore, he added, this year the competition is quite tight, especially in 10 study programs which in recent years have become favorites, namely Communication Science, Nutrition, Management, Psychology, Informatics Engineering, Visual Communication Design, English Literature, State Administration Science, Accounting, and Office Administration Education.
He continued, for participants who did not pass the SBMPTN, there was no need to worry. This is because participants still have the opportunity to enter UNESA through the independent path or SPMB, one of which can use the UTBK scores. "Later, if you don't pass, the UTBK scores can be used to register at the SPMB," he said.
The independent pathways provided by UNESA this year are the UTBK score path, the Religious Achievement track (Islam, Catholic Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism), the Sports Achievement track, the Art Achievement track, and the Leadership Achievement track. In addition, there is also the Disability track, the Computer-Based Unesa Entrance Test (TMUBK), and the D4 or Applied Bachelor Pathways.
For the 2021 UNESA SPMB registration schedule, the UTBK Regular track is open from 14-18 June 2021. The Achievement track starts 16-23 June 2021. The Applied Undergraduate Path or D4 (Gel 1) is open 21 June-3 July 2021. The TMUBK Undergraduate track starts 21 June-13 July 2021. The Disability track is also open from 21 June-13 July 2021. While the Applied Bachelor or D4 (Gel 2) pathway is 23 June-30 July 2021.
For further information, participants can view the official Unesa website, and UNESA OFFICIAL social media. While waiting for the announcement, Bambang advised the participants to prepare as well as possible. For those who are declared to have passed, prepare the file for the advanced stages and also readiness to start the academic process. Meanwhile, for those who have not passed, prepare themselves and files for registration on the SPMB path.
"Struggling should not be half-hearted, if there is still a chance, then the opportunity to qualify and succeed is still open," he said. “Hopefully the struggle of the participants will produce the expected results in this independent path. Every effort has results, and whatever the results, don't be discouraged, instead you must remain optimistic about pursuing your dreams, because there are many paths to success,” he continued, motivating.
