Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) through the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) responded quickly to a case involving a new student as the victim of violence against his ex-girlfriend.
The case has been reported and has been investigated. "We immediately carried out an in-depth investigation, including summoning the reported party this morning," said Iman Pasu Purba, UNESA PPKS Task Force at the Rectorate, Campus II Lidah Wetan, Wednesday (11/9/2024).
Iman emphasized that the case was actually a personal matter between the reported party and the victim which started when they were in high school. Currently, the reported party is a new student at UNESA 2024.
As a form of UNESA's commitment and responsibility, we immediately took immediate steps, the victim has been questioned and the reported party has been questioned.
"Currently, the PPKS Task Force is in the process of compiling conclusions and recommendations which are of course in favor of the victims," emphasized the home-based lecturer at the UNESA Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol).
Iman emphasized that in carrying out the handling, the UNESA PPKS Task Force was one hundred percent behind the victim, defending the victim, and siding with the victim.
"Don't worry about reporting to the Task Force, data and identity Confidentiality is guaranteed. "There is also no need to be afraid of threats from the perpetrators, because the PPKS Task Force also provides guaranteed protection and assistance," emphasized Iman.
