Unesa.ac.id,Surabaya-Rector of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) together with the Mayor of Surabaya, Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkompimda), Company Leaders both from BUMD Surabaya, BUMN, and private gowes together on Sunday morning (21/03/2021). The gowes route starts from Surabaya City Hall to Surabaya Zoo. The group passed several protocol roads while enjoying the morning view of Surabaya along the road.
Arriving at KBS, the group was greeted by Gonzales, an elephant cub born in Surabaya. In addition, the group also tracked the side of KBS which became one of the icons of the city of Heroes. Gowes bareng is a program of the Mayor of Surabaya that aims to strengthen friendship and strengthen synergy between the City Government, Forkompimda and Universities in Surabaya.
Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes Rector of Unesa appreciated the move of the Mayor of Surabaya through the program. Gowes together can embrace all stakeholders and leaders of universities. Thus, friendship is maintained, communication is smooth in a common vision, namely building a city of Surabaya that is advanced, beautiful, and clean.
In addition, nurhasan added, the step can be an event to ground a healthy lifestyle through gowes. It is certainly very important to do and has a great impact on reducing air pollution in Surabaya. "Trees, flower gardens are everywhere, well gowes culture needs to also be applied, in order for Surabaya to be a clean city, healthy citizens," said the man called Cak Hasan.
Nurhasan hopes, gowes together can be followed also by the citizens of Surabaya. In addition to lowering air pollution levels, it can also nourish the body.
