Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya–Unesa is getting closer to the State University of Legal Entities (PTN-BH). All preparations are intensively carried out and completed. One of them is through the Teleconference of Unesa Assistance towards PTN-BH on Tuesday (22/3/2021) on the 11th floor of Rectorate Unesa building and broadcast online through zoom application.
The event was attended by Ir. Ridwan, M.Sc. as Director of Institutional Development, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture and Prof. Tjitjik Tjahjandarie from Airlangga University (Unair) as Speaker. Also present, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes. as Rector of Surabaya State University and all vice rectors of Unesa and its ranks. Then there are Dr. Martadi, M.Sn., Director of Vokasi Unesa, and Prof. Dr. Haris Supratno and the entire PTN-BH Unesa team. In addition, there were also deans of Unesa.
In his speech, Rector Unesa explained that in navigating the era of revolution 4.0 with a variety of challenges and opportunities, Unesa must be able to become an innovative institution, independent, resilient and insightful and broad-networked in order to become a world-class university. To get there, nurhasan continued, Unesa has made many efforts and prepared a strategic plan for unesa development and governance in the future.
Ir. Ridwan who gave directions via zoom explained that the spirit of Unesa Road to PTN-BH is in line with the independent campus program which one of the programs in it supports the acceleration and transformation of universities with PTN-BLU status towards PTN-BH. There are 4 important points that must be considered in the effort to get to PTN-BH. First, the implementation and strengthening of the implementation of The Tridarma of Higher Education. Second, good campus governance. Third, financial capability in the implementation of PTN-BH. And fourth, the effectiveness of the structure, minimized, but functional.
In addition, there are several other important points discussed together on that occasion. Some of them are optimization of existing resources such as human resources and natural resources. "We hope that PTN-BH has human resources autonomy. So, slowly, gradually and gradually the name of human resources in PTN-BH is no longer civil servants," added Ir. Ridwan.
Similarly, Prof. Tjitjik explained that the key to PTN-BH is commitment. The commitment is important to smooth the course of PTN-BLU into PTN-BH that requires a lot of preparation and hard work. He hopes, early in 2022 there is already a determination of Unesa as PTN-BH.
"Unesa is committed to realizing the status of state universities incorporated in law (PTN-BH). This is an important step for Unesa and is ready to independently manage the campus with advanced and entrepreneurial concept," said Nurhasan. "I hope of course not only the transfer of status from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH, but more than that there is also an improvement in the quality and overall quality of the implementation system of Tridarma Higher Education in Unesa which is of global standard," hope the man who is commonly called Cak Hasan.
