Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA–Dharma Wanita Perempuan (DWP) UNESA held compensation activities for orphans and the poor on the 1st Floor of the UNESA Rectorate, Lidah Wetan Campus. This activity was held on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 as a series of commemorations of UNESA's 59th Anniversary.
This compensation was given to 500 orphans and poor people from nineteen orphanages, starting from toddlers, or those who have already studying at kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school and even college levels.
The five foundations and orphanages include the Nurul Yaqin Foundation, the Sasukamdi Ponpes Al-Furqon Orphanage, the NU Lidah Wetan Muslimat Orphanage and Dhuafa Foundation, the Darul Aitam Foundation, and the 'Ar Rasydu Soburih' Orphanage Foundation in Wonokromo.
Chairman of the UNESA Dharma Wanita Association, Dra. Endah Purnomowati Nurhasan, M.Pd., in her speech said that this is an activity that UNESA routinely carries out every year, inviting orphans and poor people to pray together for the safety and good of the entire 'One Step Ahead' campus family.

"Hopefully the 'beloved of God' children that we invite can become children who are useful for religion, nation and state. Hopefully those who are already in junior high or high school can later become UNESA students and can make those closest to them proud, " hopefully.

The management of the 'Ar Rasydu Soburih' Orphan Foundation, Nailatul Inayah, on that occasion expressed his thanks to all levels of the UNESA DWP management. Being able to attend and join the big UNESA family is a source of pride and motivation for the children.
He hopes that various UNESA programs can be made easier and run smoothly. He also hopes that UNESA's support can encourage children's enthusiasm for learning and achieving a future that makes everyone proud.
"Every child has the right to a better future, we need to support it together. Support can be in any form, like what UNESA is doing is extraordinary and we are very grateful, once again," he said. [*]
