Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Master of Education Technology Study Program, Faculty of Education (FIP) Surabaya State University (UNESA) held training entitled "Creative Strategy: Designing 3D-Based Learning Media to Increase Student Learning Motivation" on December 11 2024.
The activity which took place at the PT Erlangga Mahameru Publisher Building, Surabaya presented resource persons who were UNESA educational technology experts. They are Fajar Arianto and Luluk Asmawati, as well as TP master's student Santi Kusuma Dewi.In his presentation, Fajar Arianto emphasized the importance of a fun learning approach, especially for young children. "Early childhood education must be fun and encourage students to be active in learning," he said.
He added, in the digital era with its various dynamics, teachers are required to adapt to technological developments. One thing that teachers need to have is designing media by utilizing existing resources.
Among the media that can be designed is 3D-based learning media. "Apart from being fun, 3D-based media can also motivate children to learn. "With this training we want to encourage teachers to be creative, because that is key," he said.

The UNESA TP lecturer hopes for training This can equip teacher participants with understanding and skills in designing learning media. "Hopefully the participants can apply the knowledge they have gained to create an innovative and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students," he hoped.
This training was attended by participants from teachers, students and educational practitioners. Participants receive benefits in the form of training materials, consumption and certificates for a total of 32 JP (Lesson Hours).
Apart from that, this training is designed to equip participants with the ability to create 3D technology-based learning media that can be integrated in teaching process in class.
In the discussion session, participants enthusiastically asked questions and discussed the challenges faced in implementing technology-based learning media in their respective schools.[*]
