Content Creator, Dinda Nur Aisyah shares experiences on how to create content and personal branding on social media.
Unesa. AC ID. SURABAYA—Out-of-School Education Study Program (PLS) Faculty of Education, Surabaya State University (UNESA) held the National Edufair Seminar VIII on Monday, 27 May 2024 at the Auditorium on the 11th floor of the Lidah Wetan Campus 2 Rectorate.
The activity had the theme "Optimizing Contribution of the Young Generation as Agents of Change Towards Era 5.0" presents a content creator and Brand Ambassador of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Dinda Nur Aisyah, as a resource person.
Dinda Nur Aisyah, or who is familiarly called Ayca, explained that the generation Young people have a big contribution in utilizing technological developments. This can be started from the use of social media.
“Today's young generation has crazy and cool innovations, therefore they need to be shared and told through content. "The good things we do can motivate and inspire other people," he said.
Social media, he continued, must be used for positive things and this is related to personal branding its users. According to him, personal branding is very influential on career and work, therefore it needs to be built through social media.
How to create content? Of course there are many things that can be told to other people through content. Most importantly, the stage of producing quality content must start from a feeling of courage to start something good.
"We must be confident in ourselves "The quality issue is a process and gradual. Basically, if you have an idea, execute it straight away. If it's a content issue, there are two things you need to pay attention to, namely the algorithm and ATM activities or observe, imitate and modify," he explained. p>
Many content creators who have become big started by following other people, in their journey they were able to find their own characteristics and icons that differentiate them from others.
This activity was attended by the Student Affairs Assistant for the External Education Study Program School (PLS), Dr. Shobri Firman Susanto, M.Pd., active student of the PLS study program, and delegate of the finalists in the Scientific Writing Competition at the high school/equivalent level and tertiary level.
Shobri Firman Susanto said that this activity was part of the implementation of the course lectures at PLS are tasked with managing training programs that can improve students' soft skills.
"Through these programs, it is hoped that students can collaborate with various universities at least on the island of Java to develop their competencies, " he hoped.
He also hopes that from this activity students will be more encouraged to make creative breakthroughs on social media. Apart from that, you can also use social media for personal branding, sharing knowledge, experiences, and even student achievements.[]
