Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in the 2024 National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) is only a matter of days away. According to the schedule, the first batch of UTBK will start on April 30 2024. In this route, there are 55,848 applicants who chose Surabaya State University (UNESA) as their destination campus for studying.
The number of UNESA applicants for SNBT 2024 has increased from the previous year there were 40,920 registrants. There was an increase of 14,928 registrations this year. "Alhamdulillah UNESA's enrollment trend is positive from year to year. This means that UNESA continues to be the favorite university in Indonesia," said Academic Director, Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M.Kes.
He added that the increase in applicants cannot be separated from the trust of parents and the community in UNESA as a place to pursue higher education for their children. Apart from that, it is also the fruit of quality, achievement and reputation which continues to be strengthened from year to year. "Our outreach is also massive, reaching all levels of society," he added.
Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Admissions and Graduation, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., added, there is an interesting trend this year where a number of applied bachelor's (D-4) or vocational study programs are in the top 20 most UNESA registrant study programs for the 2024 SNBT pathway. Apart from that, there is a D-4 Informatics Management study program in 4th position. Then, D-4 Culinary Management is in 8th place, and D-4 Civil Engineering is in 12th place.
