Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-In the framework of the 58th Anniversary of IPB University, the IPB Archives Management Forum held a National Webinar on Archival Research Results with the theme 'Archive Research Results Become Quality Archival Problem Solving' on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
The organizer of the event presented 12 speakers from various campuses. One of them is UNESA Archives Dra. Titin Sumarti, M.Pd. On that occasion, Titin Sumarti conveyed the results of her research on 'The Role of the National Archives Awareness Awareness Movement (GNSTA) in Supporting the Process of Promotion of Professorship at FMIPA UNESA'.
He said that his research refers to the regulation of the Head of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) on GNSA which is supported by the results of a study by M.R. Khairul Muluk and Asti Amelia in 2019. "The results of the study show that there are obstacles in accelerating the appointment of functional lecturers, especially lectors and professors," he said.
Other supporting aspects from the literature review he studied were regarding the legalization of GNSTA, socialization activities, and agency support. The GNSTA was legalized on February 16, 2017 and socialization has been held. "UNESA has supported the GNSTA launched by the government," he explained.
The research he researched shows the sequence of inauguration of professors at FMIPA UNESA in 2019-2021 at the first observation stage. While the second observation found that there were priority contributors to credit scores, optimal research interest, and the existence of scores in the compilation of credit points. "The GNSTA aspect in supporting the process of promotion to the professorship at FMIPA UNESA is related to facilities and infrastructure as well as archive management," he concluded.
In the arrangement of archives, he continued, the goal is for archives to be stored and recovered quickly and accurately and to support the implementation of archive shrinkage in an institution.
It supports the general purpose of archives is to ensure the safety of materials as part of the national responsibility for planning, implementation, and administration in providing accountability materials for government activities.
"A good archive is one that is neatly organized, orderly, simple (simple, red), easily accessible for certain needs, can be used as material for performance accountability and can indirectly encourage performance improvement," he said. (Madina/zam)
