
The DKV appreciation screen displays dozens of student films.
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—A total of 16 films made by students, output from the final assignment of the Videography course for the Bachelor of Visual Communication Design (DKV) Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) were successfully shown on the appreciation screen at the T14 Auditorium, FBS, Unesa campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on 9-10 January 2025.
The appreciation screen which was attended by students, lecturers and the general public, apart from showing film works, also presented around 80 of the best posters the film at the exhibition session.
The course lecturer, Widyan Ardani, explained that with this appreciation screen and exhibition, it is hoped that DKV 3rd semester students will be able to train their soft skills, creativity, and event management skills. em> to collaboration.
“Film production and poster making are very important to train students about the complaints and struggles they face during the process. "production is underway, not only that, this also provides a place for them to practice time management," said Widyan.
The production of the film, which was produced during the approximately 2 month production period, became a learning process for students to hone their skills. .
According to him, one of the challenges that students must face is synergizing, putting ego aside, and prioritizing professionalism to produce work and make the event a success.
The demand for collaboration is not only between students, or with lecturers alone, but also with external parties in order to gather support to make the activity a success.

It was successfully done, students get support from Pondok Lensa, one of the equipment rental places for videography and photography needs that helps in film production.
On this appreciation screen, visitors are also presented with selected works from each film which present the meaning and message of the film.
"Through the production of videography films and poster exhibitions for this final assignment, it is hoped that students will not stop creating creative and innovative works to contribute to the creative world," he hoped.[*]
