This agenda mainly evaluates the implementation of Konaspi, as well as strengthening to continue increasing lecturer publications in reputable journals.
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) successfully hosted a number of national events throughout 2024. One of them was the XI Indonesian National Education Convention (Konaspi) which took place on 8-10 October 2024, which succeeded in bringing in thousands of participants and producing hundreds of publications in reputable journals.
This was conveyed at the evaluation and disbandment meeting of the Konaspi Widodo said that Konaspi 2024 was divided into three parts, conference, convention and innovation exhibition.
The conference which was held on 9-11 September successfully held 10 conferences which have resulted in publications in reputable international journals, including those indexed by Scopus .
In this conference, UNESA succeeded in achieving almost 700 publications, exceeding the initial target of 600 publications. Apart from that, Konaspi was also attended by around 2,559 delegates from 12 LPTKs, with the number of participants from UNESA reaching 4,450 people.
"Various aspects of the organization such as transportation, VIP assistance, city tour, gala dinner and other facilities "In general, we get very satisfactory ratings," said the chief executive of Konaspi XI.
The evaluation and disbandment of the Konaspi , as well as the head of work units related to the 'Home of Champions' campus environment.
Nevertheless, there are several challenges in implementation, especially regarding the distribution of consumption in the event stands. Apart from that, even though Unesa received a lot of praise for the services provided, Bambang Sigit emphasized that this evaluation will be material for future improvements so that services at the next Konaspi will be more optimal.
UNESA Chancellor, Nurhasan expressed his appreciation for the successful implementation of Konaspi involving various stakeholders. He emphasized the need for more thorough preparation for holding Konaspi in the coming years.
Apart from that, he also mentioned the need to increase the competence of lecturers, especially in international publications to achieve higher scope targets.
"Starting next year, lecturers need to produce at least one Scopus publication every year," he said while highlighting the importance of UNESA in maintaining research quality at the global level.
Furthermore, Cak Hasan reminded the entire community to continue improve performance in order to gain more appreciation and trust, both from the government and society.[*]
