attended by the Ad-Interim Business Authority of the Indonesian Embassy in Washington, Sade Bimantara; Attache of Education and Culture (Atdikbud) of the Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC, Diah Ayu Maharani; and representatives of ITB and UNESA.
Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts Unesa, Syafi'ul Anam who was present gave a speech and full support for the implementation of this activity. He hoped that this program not only enhanced Indonesian language skills, but also deepened appreciation for Indonesian.
This activity was one of the results of strategic collaboration between the Indonesian Embassy in Washington DC and various educational institutions in Indonesia. In this program, UNESA took part in assisting the learning process and presenting professional teachers who helped guide BIPA students from children to adults. BIPA students (Indonesian for foreign speakers) show their creativity through various forms of works in Indonesian, such as rhymes, music, poetry, to cooking and comedy videos. Priadi. The soft voice and excerpt of his guitar succeeded in touching the heart of the audience, until his work was named a favorite video in the closing session.
With active support from Unesa as a partner of the BIPA organizer, this event not only became a reflection of the success of Indonesian learning abroad, but also strengthened the position of Unesa as a driver of cultural and global education.
