unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Support for the U-23 Indonesian National Team which is facing the team Uzbekistan in the semifinals of the U-23 Asian Cup resonated throughout the country. This support also came from the entire Surabaya State University (UNESA) extended family through the National Team Nobar agenda at the Rectorate Field, Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Monday, April 29 2023 evening.
The echo of the supporters' chants did not subside even though in the 60th minute heavy rain poured down on the campus area. Their enthusiasm did not fade, especially to support Marselino, a UNESA student who was also competing for the national team. Before the whistle of the match started, the participants held a visit and prayed together for the Indonesian National Team.

Some spectators chose the rain, some moved to a shady place, while some others were ready to wear coats or cover themselves with plastic mats which had previously been used as sitting mats.
One of them was Ahmad Saiful, PPG student The UNESA official, who still chose to hang out under the tent provided by the committee, admitted that he did not expect it to rain that hard. “Before coming here I just took a shower and prepared myself mentally to face the final result of the match. "I didn't expect it to rain this hard," he said.
The high tension of the Indonesian U-23 national team's match against the Uzbekistan squad in the semifinals created a tense and emotional moment for supporters.
Similar thing conveyed by Farhan Husni, a UNESA PGSD student who was willing to watch while covering his head using a mat that was previously used as a sitting mat. "I came here with a group of friends and didn't anticipate the rain, so we used makeshift headgear even though it was still wet," he said.
Apart from the academic community, local people were present with their families. One of them is Orniga, who prefers to watch the show at the UNESA Rectorate Field so he can feel the euphoria of the match. Therefore, he had already prepared, even bought dinner to enjoy while nobar.

"I am sure, with a score of 2-1 for Indonesia, the national team will be able to advance to the final round and be able to compete with other top football countries," he said.
Even though it ended with a score 2-0 to Uzbekistan, he admitted that he had no regrets about taking part in last night's show. Apart from the celebration, UNESA also provided door prizes and live music during the event. In the door prizes, there are various attractive prizes, ranging from fans, rice cookers, folding bicycles to televisions.[]
