Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The opportunity to enter state universities or PTNs via the independent route is still open. A number of campuses, such as Surabaya State University (UNESA), for example, are still opening independent routes that can be used by applicants to enter PTN.
The route in question is TMUBK or Computer-Based UNESA Entrance Test, registration is open from 02 to 11 July 2024. In other words, registration is still open for the next seven days.
Head of UNESA Student Admissions and Graduation Sub-Directorate, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd, said that the TMUBK route was the last opportunity that participants could use to become new students at the 'Home of Champions' campus.
"TMUBK is almost the same as UTBK, the system is a computer-based test. The difference is, "UTBK is a national route test or SNBT. Meanwhile, TMUBK is a test carried out independently by UNESA," he explained.
Sukarmin explained the TMUBK schedule that participants need to pay attention to. TMUBK registration can be done until July 11 2024 via the UNESA SPMB page, pmb.unesa.ac.id/.
This selection uses test scores carried out offline at the UNESA Computer Laboratory Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, Surabaya on 13-15 July 2024. The test results will be announced on 19 July 2024.
"The system for the TMUBK pathway is to select scores or "The test scores obtained by participants will be seen from the highest score based on the quota of the selected study program," he explained.
Sukarmin gave an example, for example study program A has a quota of 50 students, so only participants with the highest test scores are 1 to 50. received.
In other words, the test scores of participants who choose study program A will be sorted from highest to lowest. So, the 50 participants with the highest scores will be accepted based on the study program quota.
In order to have the greatest opportunities, Sukarmin suggests that participants should be smart in choosing study programs. Apart from having to choose a study program that suits your interests, talents and career plans, you also need to pay attention to the level of competition for the study program.
"For example, friends who feel less confident about their test abilities, you can choose a study program that is not too competitive. "This can be seen on the admissions page, admisi.unesa.ac.id/," explained the FMIPA lecturer.
Sukarmin suggested that participants who had registered could prepare themselves by practicing answering questions. For those who have not registered, they can immediately decide which study program to choose based on their respective abilities.
"Keep your enthusiasm, keep trying and pray. It could be that the hopes of the students who want to become new UNESA students this year will be answered through this route. "This TMBUK. Once again, stay enthusiastic," said Sukarmin motivatingly.[*]
