Unesa Virtual Campus Expo (UVCE)
Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—For those seeking to enter state universities or PTNs who have not passed the national route, there is no need to worry, because there is still a chance to enter State Universities Surabaya (UNESA) via the Mandiri route.
In the Independent route this year, the 'Home of Champions' campus provides around six admission schemes, starting from the achievement route, disability, non-UTBK test, non-report card test, TMUBK, and cooperation (Kaltim).
Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Admissions and Graduation, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., explained that the various independent pathway schemes prepared were UNESA's efforts to provide college opportunities for the nation's next generation from various regions.
"Our selection principle is to accommodate the best potential of prospective new students (camaba). We believe that each camaba has different characteristics and advantages which we accommodate through this independent pathway," said the lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Nature (FMIPA).
Of the various independent pathway schemes mentioned above, registration has been closed for two, namely the achievement and disability pathways. Meanwhile, registration is still open as follows:
01. Nontest UTBK
For PTN applicants who have not been accepted into the 2024 SNBT route, they can use their UTBK scores to register for this independent UNESA route. In this route, participants do not need to take another test, aka no test.
For 2024 SNBT participants who have good UTBK scores, you can immediately prepare the required documents. Registration for the UTBK non-test route is open until June 26 2024.
02. Non-Test Report Card
Another non-test route is the Non-Test Report Card which is prepared by UNESA for participants who have good report card grades. For those who rarely took part in competitions during high school, had relatively low UTBK scores, or were not even eligible when SNBP did not require overthinking, you can really try this route using report card scores.
As the name suggests, the Non-Test Report Card route uses a selection of report card grades, so there are no more tests, aka no tests. This route is open from 19 June 2024 to 03 July 2024.
03. TMUBK (Computer Based UNESA Entrance Test)
The TMUBK route is a test route that is suitable for participants who have more mature test readiness. For students entering PTN who are used to sharpening their skills through questions, you can try this route. Registration for the TMUBK UNESA route is open from 02-11 July 2024.
04. East Kalimantan Cooperation
This pathway is specifically for high school students or graduates from East Kalimantan (Kaltim) who previously had institutional cooperation or MoU with UNESA regarding new student admissions. This route is open from April 24 to June 22 2024.
"Every prospective new student or new student is allowed to take more than one independent route. This means, if you have not passed the first route, you may register again in another independent route. "Each route has a different registration schedule, please pay attention, don't miss it," concluded Sukarmin.
