Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya–Ramadan has passed. However, the atmosphere of the Idul Fitri 1442 H holiday is still felt. As usual, the momentum after the holiday is used to stay in touch and to forgive one another. That is what the Faculty of Sports Science (FIO) Unesa did through the Halalbihalal event which was held online on Thursday (20/5/2021).
The event was attended by all lecturers and educational staff (tendik) around the FIO. In addition, it was also attended by Unesa Rector Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes, and Dr. Setiyo Hartoto, M.Kes as dean of FIO and other deans. This year's Halalbihalal carries the theme "Building Friendship and Increasing Performance Professionalism for Competitive FIOs".
Dr. Dwi Cahyo Kartiko, S.Pd., M.Kes, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, FIO, started his remarks by wishing him a happy Eid and thanking all the lecturers and students of FIO. According to him, thanks to lecturers and staff, FIO can carry out every learning and lecture activity well and smoothly so far.
He continued, the meaning of halalbihalal is as a place to forgive one another. In addition, it is also to strengthen friendship, strengthen a sense of brotherhood, and ultimately improve work ethos and performance for a more competitive FIO both in the national and international arena.
Prof. Akh. Muzakki, M.Ag, Grad.Dip.SEA., M.Phil., Ph.D as the speaker at the event conveyed several things related to improving the quality of human relations with God and human relations with fellow humans in relation to increased performance. According to him, work must be based on love. Because, whatever the reason, a job based on love will have a different quality of process and outcome than something that is done with hatred or emotion.
He also conveyed that, all forms of innovation and creativity are a form or birth of something that is done with a sense of liking. Working with love will lead to a sense of sincerity and by itself will find effective work patterns or what can be called smart work. Working with love not only eases the burden on the soul, but also brings many benefits and advantages. "Love what you do, do what you love," he said.
After the spiritual shower program was over, the event was continued with a door prize drawing for lucky lecturers and staff. There are various prizes provided at the event specifically for lucky lecturers or students. There is a refrigerator, electric iron, dispenser, folding bicycle and many other gifts. (Hasna / zam)
