
When professors and heads of Indonesian sports faculties gather, immediately discuss their commitment and contribution to advancing Indonesia through sustainable strengthening of sports.
Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) through the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK) held a focused discussion with the theme "Organizing Indonesian Sports: Sustainable National Sports Development" at the FIKK Auditorium, UNESA Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Wednesday, 16 October 2024. < /p>
This activity is a form of collaboration between FIKK UNESA, the Association of Indonesian Sports Professors (Apkori), and the Indonesian Sports Deans Forum (FDKI) in building sustainable national sports.
UNESA Chancellor, Nurhasan , said that there are two main problems facing sports in Indonesia. First, not focused. Many things are done at once, from upstream to downstream, even though the budget is limited.

UNESA Chancellor Cak Hasan emphasized the importance of cooperation to realize Indonesia's sports vision.
Then secondly, frequent gatherings sitting together, but not discussing commitment and cooperation to realize what is planned and targeted. "Sitting together, yes, we must also be able to work together, complement each other and collaborate to realize the big vision of national sports," he said.
The man who is familiarly called Cak Hasan emphasized the importance of collaboration in improving the quality and sustainable achievements of national sports .
"We fellow professors need to sit down together and commit. "Moreover, there are foreign graduates, Americans, Japanese, Australians, and others, this is good for in-depth discussions, formulating solutions for national sports, and so on," said Cak Hasan.
Professor at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI) in the field of Sports Policy and Development, Amung Ma'Mun highlighted that sport has now become the focus of international organizations such as the UN.
