One of them is Microsoft (Ms) Project which can be used in project-based learning. In order to improve students' ability to use the software, the UNESA Faculty of Engineering Lecturer team held training on the use of Ms.Project for the preparation of construction project schedules for students at SMK Negeri Ngraho, Bojonegoro Regency.
The Chief Executive, Puguh Novi Prasetyono, S.Pd., M.T explained that the training was based on conditions in the field where there were still many students and even schools who were not familiar with and used Ms Project for their learning and learning needs. In fact, Ms Project can be used to manage a project, assist in scheduling a project or other series of work.
Ms project can also help record and monitor the use of resources, both in the form of human resources and in the form of equipment. What can be done through the Ms project are, among others, recording the labor requirements in each sector, recording the working hours of employees, overtime hours and calculating expenses related to labor costs, entering fixed costs and calculating the total project costs. To make it easier for schools and students to learn and develop post-training knowledge, the lecturer team also provides modules, the general description consists of; 1) Setting project information, 2) Change working time, 3) inputting activity duration, 4) inputting activity predecessors, and 5) determining the critical path of work.
In addition to training, he and his team will also provide assistance in the future, both in terms of using Ms. projects or in other fields. He hopes that with this training, local schools and students will know and understand software and applications that can be used for learning and learning needs.
