Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya–A student of the Sendratasik study program, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Surabaya (UNESA), Else Selviana managed to become a finalist and won the runner up in the 2021 East Java Educational Girls Selection event.
The Grand Final with the theme “Educating, Building the Nation Lively” took place on Saturday (5/6/2021). The election for education girls will be held from February to June 2021.
In her speech, Else explained that since 2020 she has been monitoring social media for the East Java Educational Girls Election. Then in 2021 he has the opportunity to take part in the competition.
The Blitar native said that before reaching the grand final stage, she went through several stages, one of which was a written test. Else herself managed to get a golden ticket that allowed her to go straight to stage two to the grand final. "Now, thank God, there are supplies to go to the national level," he said.
Else revealed that she got a lot of experience and lessons through the event. He admitted that he had learned a lot from his fellow participants and from the organizing team. He was grateful for being able to survive and compete with 200 other participants who took part in the competition.
Else thanked everyone who supported her during this event. "Because when we took part in this competition, there was an advocacy or program that we brought, now there are several teams in the program, there are several people who contributed to the success of my program, like Alhamdulillah, I can get to this point, we can make Blitar proud and the name of the State University of Surabaya," he said enthusiastically. .
Currently, he is preparing to take part in the same event on a national scale. He hopes to get through it well and do as much as possible. “We ask for prayers and support from all parties. Hopefully, at the national level, I can make East Java proud," he concluded. (Hasna)
