Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The State University of Surabaya inaugurated six professors in various scientific fields at the peak of its 57th Anniversary on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Graha UNESA, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya. This is part of UNESA's preparations which will soon switch status from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH.
The inauguration received congratulations from various parties, one of which came from the Governor of East Java, Dra. Hj. Khofifah Indar Parawansa, M.Si who was present at the event. "Happy 57th Anniversary to UNESA and congratulations to the new UNESA professors," he said.
He hoped that the governors could strengthen UNESA's performance and productivity today and in the future. Besides that, it can also encourage the improvement of the quality of education and the contribution of UNESA in regional development, especially in East Java. "Hopefully the great teachers, their knowledge will be blessed and useful for the progress of civilization in East Java and Indonesia and their scientific resonance to the world," he hoped.
Meanwhile, UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., stated that as an effort to improve the quality of the implementation of the tridarma of higher education at UNESA and towards PTN-BH, his party recently formed a team for accelerating UNESA professors. "We encourage our lecturers to take doctoral degrees and we encourage those who have doctorates to pursue research and publications," he said.
The professors in question are; first, Prof. Dr. Dra. Marniati, SE., MM., was inaugurated as a professor in the field of Fashion Entrepreneurship Education. On that occasion, Prof. Marniati delivered a speech entitled 'Developing Fashionable Entrepreneurship Education in Learning Activities in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0'.
Second, Prof. Dr. Achmad Lutfi, M.Pd., was inaugurated as the Governor of Chemistry Education. He delivered a speech on 'Gamification for Learning in Schools; Implications for Chemistry Learning'. Third, Prof. Dr. Erina Rahmadyanti, S.T., M.T. The Governor of Environmental Sanitation Engineering who at his inauguration delivered a speech entitled 'Constructed WetLand as Green Infrastructure for Water Crisis Prevention and Sustainability for Golden Indonesia'.
Fourth, Prof. Dr. M. Turhan Yani, S.Ag., MA., Governor of Islamic Education. Prof. Turhan on the occasion delivered a speech on 'Reactualization of Islamic Earthling and Pancasila in National Education; Challenges Amid the Phenomenon of Radicalism and Communism in Indonesia'.
Then, Fifth, Prof. Dr. Hj. Rachma Hasibuan, M.Kes., was inaugurated as the Governor of Early Childhood Education. Prof. Rachman, who is the first PAUD professor in East Java, delivered a speech entitled 'The Important and Strategic Role of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) to Respond to the Challenges of Lost Learning and Lost Generation'.
And, sixth, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Asto Buditjahjanto, S.T., MT., was inaugurated as the Governor of Computational Intelligence. On that happy moment, he delivered a speech entitled 'Application of Computational Intelligence for Multiobjective Problem Solving and Multi-attribute Decision Making'.
