Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Unesa held Halalbihalal in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of E1 Building, Faculty of Engineering, Unesa on Thursday (27/05/2021). The event, which was held offline and online, carried the theme "With Faith and Taqwa We Strengthen the Ropes of Friendship to Improve Joint Performance for the Advancement of Unesa".
Dra. Hj. Endah P. Nurhasan, M.Pd. as the chairman of DWP Unesa in his speech explained that this year's halalbihalal and Eid is the second time it has been held online. However, this year there is a slight leeway because it can be done hybrid, offline and online.
He added that at a moment like this, it should be used to strengthen a sense of brotherhood and also a sense of social. Increase the spirit of cooperation, coordinate with each other, communicate both virtually and face to face. "Pandemic must be used as a means of changing the way we think and behave," he said. "Hopefully this halalbihalal will become a means of strengthening the sense of brotherhood, unity and Dharma Wanita Unesa can accompany each other or lead to a better one," he hoped.

Dr. Udjie Asiyah, M.Si. as the Chairperson of the East Java MUI Women's Empowerment Commission, in his tausiah conveyed that Allah SWT pays more attention to people who believe, both in orders and through prohibitions. Then in a believer's heart it is calm, there is no feeling of stress or dizziness. Because, always be grateful for what Allah SWT has given. One form of faith in Allah SWT and faith in the Last Day, one of which is by keeping oral. "If you can't keep your words properly, it's better to keep quiet," he said.
Unesa Chancellor, Prof. Dr. H. Nurhasan, M.Kes as the coach of DWP Unesa gave full support for these activities and always supported the activities and activities of the Uensa DPW. In fact, he provided five units of bicycle as dooprize for the lucky participants in the draw at the end of the event. At the event there was also a distribution of educational compensation funds to the sons and daughters of the Unesa Faculty of Engineering education staff. (aida / zam)
