Strategic (DPPIS) launched AI -based counseling and websites in the annual delivery of the PPIS Award "Anugerah Bhakti Campus Aman," Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Rector and all levels of leaders, deans, directors, coorprodi, lecturers and related community activities were present at the activity of UNESA Campus II Wetan Tongue.
The counseling service prepared based on the website One UNESA . In addition there is also an AI assistant based named "Ansia" which is the result of cooperation between the Directorate of PPIS and the Directorate of Digital Learning Innovation, and PPTI Unesa.
Director of Prevention and Management of Strategic Issues (PPIS), Mutimmatul Faidah explained that in 2024 to 2025, many students took counseling. So that counseling services are now open 24 hours.
There are three types of counseling services that are prepared to facilitate students or the community accessing the service, namely regular counseling (direct face to face), counseling through Ansia, and through the website one UNESA .
AI-based counseling is conditioned based on Big Data managed by the Unesa Team. Counseling through AI is more as a form of first aid service for students who need counseling as soon as possible, before scheduled offline.
Rector of UNESA, Nurhasan or Cak Hasan appreciated the innovation and creativity of PPIS, so as to serve, overcome and anticipate the occurrence of strategic issues on campus.
"Preventive efforts are always optimized as related to intolerance, bullying , to sexual violence. Especially at this time the AI era so that PPIS innovates how to provide services that reach all the community, anytime anywhere," said Cak Hasan.

Deputy Rector II for Management, Finance, Resources and Business, Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri explained that this series of activities was also in the form of giving awards to superior faculties and contributing to prevent strategic issues.
This award aims to give appreciation and increase enthusiasm for all faculties in order to increase the prevention of strategic issues such as intolerance, bullying, sexual violence and others.
"This appreciation is also in order to increase awareness of the community related to the issue of violence which is currently increasing," he said.
