Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-Faculty of Sports Sciences (FIO) UNESA held the first period of 2021 judiciary for undergraduate program (S-1) at Gor Internasional Futsal on Wednesday (02/17/2021).
Yudisium was followed online by 134 students. They come from three study programs, namely S-1 Physical Education, Health and Recreation, S-1 Sports Science, and S-1 Sports Coaching Education.
The theme is "Synergy of Graduates in the New Normal Era". Dean of FIO, Dr. Setiyo Hartoto, M.Kes., said that FIO graduates must be able to adapt to all situations, including during the pandemic and in this new normal era.
In the face of the current situation, it takes a strong mental and physical. It is not easy to stress with new habits and easily adapt to all changes.
"FIO UNESA graduates are strong physically and psychically. Then, do not easily believe or be affected by information that is not necessarily true, because it can be psychologically disturbing and cause stress," he said. "Unesa graduates should know which information is correct, scientific, and which is hoaks," he continued.
In addition, Setiyo Hartoto also said that FIO graduates must be the golden generation who have an open mind, are not quickly satisfied and always increase their scientific capacity so that they can face the times.
"Our nation needs a golden generation like you, there needs to be change and development. For that we as faculty leaders hope to keep looking for science, keep learning, so that later can continue to reap the expected success," he concluded.
On that occasion, FIO gave appreciation to its best graduates, both at the study and faculty level. The first best graduate was Achmad Reza Firmansyah with a GPA of 3.9 from S1 Pend. Physical, Health and Recreation. Then followed by Mega Permata Sari from Prodi S1 Pend. Sports Training with a GPA of 3.8 in the second place, and Diah Ayu Rosalia Tungga Dewi from the Department of Sports Sciences with a GPA, 3.8 in third place. (Zam / Public Relations Unesa)
