Unesa.ac.id, JEMBER-The collaboration between KKN-T students from the Communication Studies Study Program, FISH, UNESA and the Suco Village Government (Pemdes) in Jember gave birth to a number of programs and innovations. One of them is that they launched a village website and unlimited integrated livestock video screening (4T) at the Suco Village Hall, Mumbulsari, Jember, some time ago.
The Head of Mumbulsari Sub-district, Widayaka, revealed that the village website was launched to support a digital-based village government service system. According to him, it is time for the village administration to follow the demands of the times, which are all digital-based.
“Like it or not, we have to adapt here. We certainly can't go it alone, therefore collaboration with young people and students who do have the ability in this field is very necessary,” he said.
He hopes that the website will become a service base that will continue to be developed so that integrated village services can be realized in various aspects. “The task now is that the human resources of this village must be directed there. In the future, of course, there must be some kind of training or improvement of digital skills of village officials on an ongoing basis," he said.
Head of Suco Village, Taufik Hidayat said, “On behalf of the Suco Village Government, we express our gratitude to the KKN-T members from UNESA who have contributed. Even though we have a good program, if we don't introduce it to digitization, I don't think the program will be widely known.”
The Desa Suco website, desasuco.com, features many informative features and displays. The web content includes village philosophy, geographical location, vision and mission, population data, village apparatus structure, articles and news, village potential, public services, and village flagship programs.
"Hopefully this collaboration will continue and the governance of the village government will be better, more effective and efficient and its superior programs will increasingly have an impact on the prosperity and welfare of the local villagers," hoped the KKN-T Coordinator. [UNESA PR]
