Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Labschool Unesa made a proud achievement in the 2024 National Robotics Championship (Kejurnas) held by the International Robotic Training and Competition (IRTC) at TRANS Ikon Surabaya, on 9-10 November 2024.
In this prestigious event, SMA Labschool Unesa won 1st place in the Sumo Closed 1 kg category and 2nd place in the Sumo Open 5 kg category. Meanwhile, UNESA Labschool Middle School won 1st place in the soccer best point category, and 2nd place in the 500gr SUMO category.
This prestigious competition. This success not only shows the students' technical abilities in the field of robotics, but also high enthusiasm and dedication to continue to make the school proud.
The Head of Unesa Labschool High School, Dewi Purwanti, expressed her pride in the achievements her students had achieved. . It was an extraordinary achievement achieved through their hard work and ability.
"The children have worked hard and proven their abilities in this prestigious competition. This victory is the result of good cooperation between students, teachers and full support from the school," said Dewi.
As a form of support, Unesa Labschool High School provides various facilities that help develop students' robotics abilities. The school provides intensive training, purchases the necessary robotics equipment, and finances administration and registration during the competition.
This was done, said Dewi, so that students could focus on improving their skills and strategies without being hampered by financial problems in welcoming the international robotics championship next year.
The UNESA Labschool Middle School Robotics Team won two championship titles in the 2024 National Robotics Championship (Kejurnas).

Endah Purnomowati, Chair of the Unesa Labschool Foundation, also expressed her appreciation for the students' achievements. “I am very proud of the children's achievements in the field of robotics. "They show that hard work and consistent training produces results," said Endah.
He hopes that this achievement can continue and become an inspiration for other students to pursue their potential.
Apart from that, the Director of BPSL (Labschool Management Body) UNESA, Sujarwanto, assessed that This achievement is an extraordinary step in advancing the field of robotics in Labschool schools.
"Hopefully this achievement can spread to other schools in the Labschool environment and be the beginning of the birth of more innovations in the field of robotics," said Sujarwanto enthusiastically.
Faisal Suryo Anggoro, one a member of the Labschool Unesa High School robotics team, stated that this victory was the result of a long struggle they went through with the team.
“We are very proud because we succeeded in bringing the school's good name to the national stage. "This is proof that our hard work is not in vain," said Faisal. The hope is that they can continue to make achievements for the good name of Labschool Unesa High School.
