Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The BAN-PT Assessor Team visited the D-4 Informatics Management, Vocational State University Surabaya (UNESA) study program on April 1-2, 2022. The activity was carried out offline at the K4 Building, UNESA Vocational School, Ketintang Campus and online via Zoom Meeting.
The Assessor Team, attended by Rahmat Widia Sembiring, M.Sc.IT., Ph.D., from Medan State Polytechnic and Dr. Erik Iman Heri Ujito, S.T., M.Kom., from the Yogyakarta University of Technology. UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., who was also present on the occasion, stated that accreditation is not only about campus grades, but also about quality.
“Guidance and input from the assessor team are very much needed so that UNESA Vocational Schools can develop and progress again. Hopefully this assessment can give the best results,” he said.
Cak Hasan continued, the Vocational 'One Step Ahead Campus' was only formed in 2021 and has shown an extraordinary performance. "We are committed to developing the Vocational Program to contribute and encourage the acceleration of regional development, East Java in particular and the country," Cak Hasan.
Director of Vocational, Dr. Martadi, M. Sn., said that accreditation is important to ensure UNESA Vocational graduates get better access to the world of work. "We plan to increase the network of cooperation and strengthen the quality of applied research as a feature of the Vocational Program," said Martadi.
Meanwhile, according to Dr. Warju, S.Pd., S.T., M.T., Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, the Vocational Program has a vision of 'Creating Excellent Vocational Graduates with Character, Environmental Insight and Information Communication Technology-Based'.
This vision as well as excellence became one of the important points during the presentation session with the assessor team. With the accreditation activity for the D-4 Information Management Study Program, Warju is optimistic that this assessment will produce maximum results.
The UNESA Vocational Field Assessment was attended by UNESA leaders and UNESA Vocational Program leaders. In addition, the Head of the D-4 Information Management Study Program was also present, the ranks of the head of the institution and the UNESA task force team. [UNESA PR]
