Unesa .ac.id., SURABAYA--The Academic Directorate, Surabaya State University (UNESA) held a working visit or benchmarking to the Directorate of Educational Transformation and Learning Technology (DTPTP) IPB University on Friday, 20 October 2023.
Director Academic Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M.Kes., said that the purpose of this visit was to accelerate the acceleration of UNESA PTN-BH's performance and work services as well as establishing collaboration with IPB University in various aspects of education.
"There are many things we discussed "and sharing about academic governance on each campus. What we got at IPB is an important reference in accelerating academic performance and services at UNESA," he said.
Director of DTPTP IPB University, Ir. Lien Herlina, M.Sc., on that occasion explained the resilient and sustainable IPB 5.0 curriculum. Various rapid breakthroughs have been made following current developments. IPB has an enrichment program with a weight of 21 credits in one semester.
"In it there is a study program curriculum structure and a special portal for students. Apart from that, there are literature reviews, theses (research), business reports, capstone reports, internship results "The competition is written using final project standards that are integrated with suitability of time and scope (CPL), must be able to write scientifically according to the rules, it can also be extracted from MBKM activities in the form of 6 credits," he said.
In this activity many aspects were discussed such as; 1) KRS student database portal system involving lecturers, students, coordinators and universities; 2) KRS activities (activities as learning channels), 3) Student activity conversion options: recognition, equalization, or SKPI.
Furthermore,; 4) Outbound and inbound (admission system so that foreign students can have their NIM transferred so they can get facilities like regular IPB students and join regular classes), 5) To open a new study program, the study program must create a scientific blueprint; and 6) Learning: strategies for implementing learning in PTNBH.

"The follow-up to this external benchmarking is of course so that we continue to run fast, learn from IPB University regarding very fast curriculum transformation and we will continue to learn from IPB University," said Prof Fida.
This meeting was attended by various officials from both institutions. From IPB University, Prof. drh. Deni Noviana, Ph.D, Deputy Chancellor I for Education and Student Affairs; Ir. Lien Herlina, M.Sc as Director of DTPTP IPB University; and Dr. Kaswanto, SP, M.Si, Head of the Sub-Directorate for Technology Development and Education Digitalization; and his staff.
Meanwhile, the UNESA delegation was attended by the Academic Director, Prof. Dr. Fida Rachmadiarti, M.Kes; Head of Sub-Directorate of Learning Dr. Muji Sri Prastiwi, M.Pd; Head of MBKM Sub-Directorate Dr. M. Jacky, M. Sos; and Head of Sub-Directorate of Admissions Dr. Sukarmin, M.Si.
